Planned Programs to Support Cultural Exchange
Through live music performance, music education, and cultural exchange, we hope to expand the understanding and appreciation of rock music in its various forms across the US.
As part of this effort, we also hope to introduce music fans to new forms of musical expression, to new artists that can enrich their lives, and to new music traditions that combine disparate cultural influences.
Education
- Language learning content and training opportunities
- Translation services for song lyrics, music articles, social media, and music video
- Information on history, culture and travel resources
- Database of music related information, resources, and performances
Outreach
- Provisioning of speakers and cultural figures for both private and public events
- Establishing relationships with compatible organizations in the U.S. and Japan to aid our mission
- Online media opportunities to broadly communicate our activities
- Sponsoring music and art contests to engage young people in our mission
Networking
- Calendar of relevant US/Japan music events including live music schedules
- Voluntary member directory
- Networking events in large U.S. cities
- Support to visitors and expats traveling to and from the US
- Posting of music related job openings
